Special effects such as Acoustic Simulator, Guitar Simulator and more offer countless sonic possibilities. Plus, a looper is available to elevate your rehearsals and performances.

The GT-1 was designed specifically for musicians on the go. It’s surprisingly lightweight and compact, while also featuring the durability typical of the BOSS brand. With its modern design, it fits perfectly into the accessory pocket of your guitar case and you don’t have to worry about scraping your treasure against sharp corners. Plug the unit directly into the mains or insert the batteries and enjoy the flexibility of up to seven hours of battery life, making the GT-1 the perfect sidekick for street performances or any unexpected occasion.

The GT-1 makes it easy to achieve fantastic sound, whatever your style. Beginners will appreciate the ready-made sounds that are easily and instantly dialled in, while more experienced players will love the quick and intuitive sound editing. In addition, the Easy Select function allows you to quickly search for patches by genre, distortion or effect type, and the Easy Edit function lets you tweak drive, modulation and echo to perfection with minimal effort. The panel features single-purpose buttons, including quick on/off switches for groups of effects, or you can unlock fine-tuning parameters.

Thanks to BOSS Tone Central, GT-1 owners can take advantage of various patch sets for any genre completely free of charge. These patches have been created by professional guitarists and are therefore perfectly tuned and ready to be used by advanced players who like to customize their sound. The BOSS Tone Studio software, which you get completely free, offers a fully featured library and editing environment for the GT-1. Plus, it gives you access to all patch sets on BOSS Tone Central.

All three GT-1 footswitches are designed to make patch selection, access to tuning, looper control and other functions as easy as possible. The CTL1 switch can be assigned to control tempo, off/on effects and other functions, while the expression pedal and toe switch can be assigned to control volume, wah and various effect parameters for a change. For more demanding players, there is also a jack used to connect two external footswitches or an expression pedal. The GT-1 supports USB, allowing users to record and amplify tones in DAW software and with BOSS Tone Central or BOSS Tone Studio.
